SNAKE BYTE | "Russell is not a viper"

"Russell is not a viper" "Jarden pit is a viper"

A teacher named Dongbu Muji in Bichum district of Arunachal Pradesh was bitten on the head by a Jordanian pit viper while walking under a tree. The family was rushed to the Times Hospital in Tezpur.  Initially, Dongbu Muji had difficulty breathing but later recovered after medical efforts.  In the past, the Times Hospital has reportedly cured many patients of snake bites.  And they continue to do so today.  This is good news for us. Now let's talk about Jordan's pit viper. They ave a triangular head shape, which is the dominant characteristic of pit vipers.  It is found in northeastern India, Myanmar and other countries.  In India, this snake is commonly found in parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya.  Its venom contains hemo toxin.   Its bites can be dangerous to humans, but should be treated in time.  Another characteristic of the Jordanian pit viper is that the eggs hatch inside the stomach and then give birth to live young.  They give birth to 7- 12 chicks.

Finally, don't be afraid of the poisonous snake bite.Today, treatment is available in most of the hospitals in Assam.
